Charity Mosienyane is a leader in civil/water infrastructure with over 20 years of
experience across the water, resources and transport sectors. She is a Civil and environmental engineering by training and over the span of her career she has designed and managed the delivery of major infrastructure across Australia that has contributed to the transformation of local place. She has also delivered catchment scale programs, strategic plans to address water supply, water security and drought resilience in the UK.

She currently leads the Swimmable Birrarung Earthshot, a wildly ambitious project with a vision to work collectively across the Yarra River catchment to
transform the river (and catchment) so that it is clean, healthy, thriving and swimmable again (where appropriate). Her role involves convening across
government, business, industry, academia and community in service to this vision. She plays an integral role in field building, connecting unusual
actors/stakeholders , developing strategy and interventions that are based on a systemic approach to progress the ambitious goal of a healthy, thriving and
swimmable again Yarra River | Birrarung.
