Social Functions

We understand the importance of networking with industry peers at the Stormwater Victoria Conference. In addition to catering breaks between sessions, we have arranged two social functions as part of the conference program.

Attendance at social functions are included in some Full Conference Registration Packages. Additional tickets can be purchased at the time of registering.

Welcome Drinks and Networking

Attendees joined colleagues and exhibitors for drinks, nibbles, and networking at the Networking Reception, held the evening before the conference commenced. The reception provided a valuable opportunity for delegates to connect, learn, and engage before the start of the 2026 conference program.

2026 Awards for Excellence and Conference Dinner

The 2026 Stormwater Victoria Awards for Excellence celebrated the outstanding projects, people and organisations making a significant contribution to stormwater management and integrated water practices across Victoria. The session recognised innovation, leadership, collaboration and technical excellence from across the industry, showcasing initiatives that helped shape more resilient, sustainable and water-sensitive communities. Attendees had the opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the achievements of peers and colleagues while connecting with industry leaders, project teams and partners from across the sector in a relaxed and celebratory atmosphere.

The evening began with pre-dinner drinks and the 2026 Stormwater Victoria Awards for Excellence Session before guests moved into what proved to be a memorable Conference Dinner experience.

This special evening provided a fantastic opportunity to celebrate industry achievements, reconnect with colleagues and build new professional connections in a relaxed and vibrant setting.

The night featured internationally renowned speed painter Brad Blaze, whose high-energy live performance combined art, music and entertainment in a truly unforgettable show. Famous for creating striking large-scale portraits in just minutes, Brad’s performance delighted and inspired attendees.
